Our favourite moments in Tanzania

As the safari experts, we thought we would share some of our favourite moments during different safari trips in Tanzania. We have people coming in from all over the world, at different times of the year, just to experience the African safari.

Tanzania is a huge country geographically, with so much to see. Expect to encounter plenty of wildlife, warm and friendly people, amazing landscapes and world-famous National Parks.

Here is a glimpse of some of our memorable moments:

Live hunt at Ngorongoro Crater:

Lions-hunting

There are very few things as exhilarating as watching a live hunt. We recall stopping our vehicle at Ngorongoro Crater  when we spotted a lion walking towards its prey and finally hunted it down with its timely and dexterous ways. And thereafter you could be lucky enough to get close as the entire family feeds on the prey.

Witnessing the wildebeest migration at Serengeti National Park:

Serengeti-Wildebeest-Migration

The great Serengeti wildebeest migration is the movement of large numbers of wildebeest, zebras, and a few gazelles, eland and impala. migrate in a clockwise direction across the ecosystems of the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara .

Getting up-close with the Elephants at Tarangire National Park:

Tarangire-National-Park

Tarangire is home to lots of elephants, and if you want to meet these beautiful creatures and spend some time in their natural habitat, Tarangire National Park is the place to be. Watch them drinking water at watering holes or see them gracefully crossing the road right in front of you!

Witnessing the flamingoes at Lake Manyara:

Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara is a massive lake not too far from Arusha town. Enjoy spectacular views of this lake and meet the most intriguing and unique birds here- the flamingo! They are tall, pink wading birds with slender necks and long necks. Read more about this lake here.

Appreciating the magical Views of lake Chala:

Lake Chala is a crater lake at the border of Kenya and Tanzania. We love this place because it is very close to Moshi and ideal for a day trip. It is a lovely experience to just unwind and relax by such magnificent views while enjoying a delicious meal at their restaurant or bringing your own meal.

While these are just a few of our favourite moments captured, there is so much more beauty in the country to appreciate. Check out our packages to see what you could do while in Tanzania.
